The candidates for U.S. Senate in Texas, the Democrat James Talarico and the Republican Ken Paxton, traded barbs this week in what is predicted to be a bitter common election marketing campaign.

“My opponent is probably the most excessive radical the Democrats have ever nominated. James Talarico goes to be nothing greater than a Texas-based puppet for Chuck Schumer and the nationwide Democrats.” “Ken Paxton is morally unfit for workplace. He — he has failed the character check. He’ll deceive you with a straight face. He’s probably the most corrupt legal professional common in our lifetimes, and he has put his personal pursuits above the legal guidelines of Texas.” “He’s even operating a vegan marketing campaign, no matter that’s. [laughs] He goes by a number of names that you could be all have heard of. Some folks know him as Tofu Talarico. I’ve even heard some folks name him James Talafreako.” [laughs] “They’re going to throw the whole lot they’ve received at us. They’ve already known as me a radical leftist. They’ve already known as me a pretend Christian. They’ve even known as me a vegan, and people are — [cheers] these are combating phrases within the state of Texas. You realize, I’m an eighth-generation Texan. I’ve been consuming barbecue since earlier than Ken Paxton’s first indictment.”
