Proper within the middle of the island nation of Madagascar there’s an odd, nearly completely round geological construction. It covers a much bigger space than town of Paris — and at first look, it seems to be fully empty. However proper within the middle of that construction, there’s a single, remoted village: a number of dozen homes, some fields of crops, and filth roads stretching out in each route.

After we first noticed this village on Google Earth, its excessive remoteness fascinated us. Was the village full of individuals? How did they wind up there? And what did life seem like in such a spot? To seek out out, we teamed up with a neighborhood crew in Madagascar and fell down a rabbit gap of geology and mapping alongside the best way.
