Additionally, Samsung revealed two new features: Place Notification and Movement Detection Alert.
In a joint blog post, Samsung states Place Notification will alert users if "a tagged item moves in or out of a predefined area that they set."The Movement Detection Alert is much simpler: Samsung states this warning system will inform users if their tagged item is moving.
These features likely work in tandem with the SmartTag 3's Compass View.
Samsung says this works up to 60 meters away, giving users "distance and directional guidance." The SmartTag 3's Location History helps users keep better tabs on where their tag (or tagged items) have been. The SmartTag 3 connects to a range of devices, thanks to its cross-OS support and the Galaxy Find Network.
The SmartTag 3 is available in the U.S.
for $29.99 (single tracker) or in a four-pack for $99.Today is also the day the Galaxy Buds On officially launch in the U.S.
