The Diocese of San Bernardino is the primary within the nation to formally carry the duty for Catholics to attend Mass in response to immigration detentions on church property.
Catholics are often obligated to go to Mass on Sundays and different holy days. However Bishop Alberto Rojas has paused that requirement in San Bernardino for individuals who might worry immigration raids.
