The property & casualty and specialty threat division of worldwide insurer AXA has appointed its first-ever international chief underwriting officer for specialty.

The newly created function at AXA XL might be assumed by Anne Marie Elder – presently international CUO for marine – on April 1. Her wider remit will span AXA XL’s marine, aerospace, and specialty area of interest portfolios.
