Countries With the Strictest Passport Page Requirements
- Namibia – 3 blank pages
- Botswana – 3 blank pages
- Zambia – 3 blank pages
- South Africa – 2 blank pages
- China – 2 blank pages
- India – 2 blank pages
- Indonesia – 2 blank pages
What Counts as a Blank Passport Page?
- The page must be completely blank.
- Pages labeled “visa pages” count.
- Endorsement pages in the back of passports do not count.
- Some countries require consecutive blank pages.
Remember this Simple Rule of Thumb
If you travel internationally often, it’s safest to have:
- At least 2 blank passport pages for most trips
