Trump Talks Honorees, Nationwide Guard in D.C. and Russia at Kennedy Heart
President Donald J. Trump mentioned that he could be internet hosting the Kennedy Heart Honors himself in December and introduced the honorees, which included Sylvester Stallone and Gloria Gaynor. Mr. Trump then centered most of his remarks on the Nationwide Guard being deployed to Washington.
“I’ll always remember. I used to be a younger man, and I went to see a factor referred to as ‘Rambo,’ and it had simply come out. I didn’t know something about it. And I mentioned, ‘This film is phenomenal. What the heck.’ One particular person will get slightly injured by someone, they’ll say, ’Trump didn’t fulfill his promise.’ No, we’re going to be primarily crime-free. That is going to be a beacon.” Reporter: “If you meet with Vladimir Putin Friday in Alaska —” “Yeah.” “Do you imagine you’ll be able to persuade him to cease focusing on civilians in Ukraine?” “Nicely, I’ll inform you what. I’ve had that dialog with him. I’ve had a variety of good conversations with him. Then I am going dwelling and I see {that a} rocket hit a nursing dwelling, or a rocket hit an condo constructing and individuals are laying useless within the streets.
